Perimeter

Quarterly diaspora security brief

The diaspora threat environment, assessed.

Perimeter is Mitzpe's quarterly brief on the diaspora threat environment. Each edition assesses the threat picture facing Jewish communities in North America and Western Europe, identifies emerging risks, and delivers operational recommendations for organizational security leadership.

Perimeter is not a subscription publication. Editions are confidential, distributed only to contracted clients of the institute's Diaspora Security Practice under a relationship calibrated to the client's organizational size, geography, and threat exposure.

Members and Supporters of Mitzpe do not receive Perimeter material absent the relevant Diaspora Security Practice engagement.

Why Mitzpe Does This Work

Jewish diaspora life faces genuine risk over the next twenty to thirty years. That statement is not catastrophism. It is an operational assumption behind every Perimeter assessment.

The threats that produced October 7 did not originate in Gaza, and they do not terminate at Israel's borders. They express through ideology, targeting logic, and organizational infrastructure that reach directly into North America and Western Europe. "Globalize the intifada" moved from chant to strategy. Jewish community infrastructure is on the list of soft targets for that strategy. The institutional response to that fact has not kept pace with the threat.

Perimeter treats diaspora communities as what they actually are: targets of attention from hostile actors, participants in a larger strategic picture, and worth protecting with the same analytical discipline the institute brings to Israeli security. Federation executives and synagogue security chairs do not need alarmism. They need clarity, about what has changed, what is coming, and what a serious institutional response looks like.

Mitzpe's protective work is analytical, not sentimental. That is the difference the contracted relationship earns.
